Art in the Gardens

A festival which showcases local artists and the wide range of arts and crafts they specialise in.

The weekend aims to bring the world of arts and crafts to life for visitors.

Magical setting. A group of sixteen restored Victorian hedged gardens overlooking Warwick Racecourse. Artists working from summerhouses, gazebos and lawned areas around Hill Close Gardens.

Not just a formal exhibition of arts and crafts. Adults and children can watch the various artists at work (see a wide range of arts and crafts demonstrated) around the gardens, chat to them about their work, or take part in free workshops. An informal and inclusive atmosphere.

Live musical performances, poetry readings and promenading players reciting sonnets and speeches from Shakespeare....yes, he was local as well.

Opportunity to buy from the various artists: choose from the wide selection of arts and crafts being demonstrated.

Tearooms taken on the guise of a studio setting, with displays of paintings and photographs.
